Storage & Shelf-Life

Keep uncooked in a cool, dry place in an airtight container for between 3 and 5 years, cooked in the fridge for 3 – 4 days, cooked in the freezer for between 4 – 6 months.

How To Use

Rinse rice. Add one part wild rice to three parts water and a dash of salt in a pan and bring to the boil uncovered. Once boiling, cover and reduce to a simmer for between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on how crunchy or tender you like it. Keep watch after 30 minutes: if the seed coating starts to split and the grains roll up, you’re overcooking.
